Our Mechanicsburg Townhome and Mechanicsburg Courtyard properties are both located in Upper Allen Township which is west of Harrisburg near the Historic Town of Mechanicsburg. The western side of Harrisburg is also referred to as the "West Shore" because of its proximity to the Susquehanna River. Municipalities within the West Shore include Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Lemoyne, New Cumberland, Carlisle as well as a number of smaller towns and boroughs. The area is home to a number of business, colleges and military bases. US Military facilities include The Army War College in Carlisle, US Navy Ship Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg and the New Cumberland Army Depot.

Conversely, the eastern side of the Susquehanna River is commonly referred to as the "East Shore". The East Shore is home to the City of Harrisburg, Hershey, Hummelstown as well as numerous smaller towns and boroughs. Large business in the area include, Hershey Foods, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, PinnacleHealth System, PSECU and Pennsylvania State Government to name a few.
